A little about me...Since I was 10 years old, when the iron curtain was just about to collapse, photography was what I loved doing most. I remember myself as a small kid in St. Petersburg developing black and white pictures in our small bathroom that was converted into a small lab every time we needed a dark room. Since then, photography has been a major part of my life. Whether here in Israel or traveling around the world, I never go anywhere without my camera. For me, the greatest attraction in photography is the quest for capturing the decisive moment that will never return. My greatest challenge is to describe an event or a place through the lens, through my perspective, and make it interesting for others. I've always loved traveling, and photography makes it much more fun, exploring new cultures and relishing the life of local people. With my pictures I try to express what I feel at a given moment, and share it with the people who look at them. Most of all I like taking pictures of people, whose personality I try to extract and express on still images. But I will shoot almost everything since I just like to hold my camera in my hand.
